    Founded in 1988 by Brett D. Houston and Mark E.LeCompte, New England Employee Benefits Co., Inc, (NEEBCo) is a full-service employee benefits brokerage firm that is a trusted leader in the New Hampshire and New England marketplace. NEEBCo is known for its customer service, professionalism, expertise and solid commitment to its clients and community.   NEEBCo’s mission is to provide superior cost-effective benefit solutions for its customers backed by service and employee advocacy that is second to none. 

    In 2021 NEEBCo joined the Alera Group allowing it to expand its service offerings including retirement services and property and casualty coverage. As an Alera Group firm, its clients benefit from the expertise and resources of a large national firm, while still maintaining the advantages of local hands-on care and relationships.

    Danielle Smith is a benefits advisor with seven years of experience helping employers build thoughtful, effective employee benefit programs. Before moving into the insurance and benefits world, she spent eight years in education, where she developed a strong foundation in communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building. Danielle enjoys partnering with business leaders and HR teams to create benefits strategies that support both company goals and employee well-being. She’s known for her approachable style, clear guidance, and commitment to building long-term relationships with her clients. Outside the office, Danielle enjoys spending time with her husband and three kids, gardening, and working her way through an ever-growing library stack.

    Kimberly is a Benefit Technology Specialist with over 20 years of experience in customer service and employee relations. A graduate of Hesser College, she works closely with companies and employees to support benefit enrollments and provide guidance throughout the enrollment process. Kimberly is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service, clear communication, and a positive experience for every client she assists.
